Matt Monson and Kath Younger are a husband and wife team with an enthusiasm for delicious breads made from real food.

Matt, a wrangler of yeast, has been making bread at home for years and also brews his own beer.

Kath, a Registered Dietitian, writes a food blog at , where she shares her life and the healthy food she eats with readers around the world.

Why Cville?
Matt was born in Charlottesville when his dad was in his medical school residency at UVa. For years his family talked about the sense of home Cville bestowed inside of them. When it was time for Matt and Kath to choose a city to call home for themselves and their business, Charlottesville quickly moved to the top of the list. After a weekend getaway to visit, Matt and Kath were in love.
